Breathing involves so much more than just air. Although one of the principal benefits of vigorous breathing comes from the oxygenation of the blood and aerobic effect on the lungs, according to those who formulated ancient systems of breathing exercises, this is just a secondary benefit.

The main benefit of breathing exercises is that through controlling the breath you can control the flow of energy through your physical and subtle bodes in a very powerful way. By controlling and enhancing this energy, you can affect all aspects of your life, your conscious mind, your psychic and spiritual development and your physical vitality. Healing with Colour

Colour therapy, or chromotherapy, is rapidly growing in popularity around the world as its wonderful benefits are rediscovered. Colour was used for healing in ancient times but disappeared from main stream medicine with the rise of surgery and drugs.

Each hue of colour is light vibrating on its own frequency. You, as a human being, are also a being of light, surrounded and interpenetrated by your own electromagnetic field – the aura. Your aura is made up of different energy frequencies and colours, and so changes when colour is introduced to it.

This is the basis of colour therapy. Disease first appears in the aura as an accumulated mass of stagnant energy that is either devoid of real colour, or the wrong colour. If this condition is not removed it will then start to show in the physical body.

However, by introducing the correct colour frequencies back into a person this can soon restore balance and well being.
